Lauren Berry
If you call or visit Redwood you will most likely be greeted by a pleasant voice introducing herself as Lauren. In 2011, Lauren became the newest member of the Redwood group as Operations Assistant and she is a vital asset to the client service team. As a recent graduate, she was excited about the opportunity to work with such a unique firm.
Lauren is a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a B.B.A in finance. Surprisingly, her interest in investing began as she was preparing for pharmacy school! It was love at first sight when her brother was on line one day and introduced her to that flickering ticker screen. Lauren quickly changed her major to finance and never looked back. Before joining Redwood, Lauren had nearly two years of customer service experience in financial services at Scottrade. As a firm believer in continuing education, Lauren took little time off after graduation and almost immediately began studying for the CFA Level 1 Exam, which she is currently pursuing.
Lauren is from Trenton, Georgia, a small mountainous town just below Chattanooga, Tennessee. She now resides in Kennesaw with her husband, Jared Berry, and two very cute Shiba Inu dogs, Rocky and Bear. Both Lauren and her husband have a love for animals and sports cars. In her free time, she enjoys photography and messing around with Photoshop – her favorites are scenic pictures! Lauren loves to be outdoors and in the summer you will most likely find her hiking or spending time at Little River Canyon, a state park outside Fort Payne, AL. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loves shopping for anything that sparkles.
