Michelle Lewis
When Redwood offered her a job as a Financial Planner, Michelle Lewis jumped at the chance to not only work for a boutique, fee-only financial planning firm but to return home. Although she misses living in the coastal city of Charleston, S.C., Michelle loves being closer to family and friends and working with Redwood clients.
Michelle Lewis is a 2008 graduate of the University of Georgia where she earned a bachelor’s degree in family and consumer science with a major in financial planning. Her experience includes detailed training in retirement planning, tax planning, education planning, and investments.
While attending the University of Georgia, Michelle was an active member of the Student Financial Planning Association, as well as Zeta Tau Alpha. She spent much of her time volunteering with organizations including Special Olympics, H.E.R.O. for Children, Relay for Life and Habitat for Humanity.
After graduation, Michelle launched her career in Charleston, working for NEXT Financial and gaining valuable experience around the disciplines of financial planning that she now uses at Redwood. She is now working towards the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ designation.
A native of Norcross, Michelle was active in her church and community activities holding leadership positions as a swim team coach, cheerleading coach, and elementary school peer leader. In her free time, Michelle enjoys running, wakeboarding, cheering on the Bulldogs and traveling to the beach.
