Ross Hughes

Ross Hughes joined Redwood as a Financial Planner in November 2009 from PPA Advisors in Roswell. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in financial planning and is working toward a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.

As we at Redwood and many of our clients have learned, Ross is an avid University of Georgia football fan; most Saturdays in the fall, he is in Athens cheering on the Dawgs! But he enjoys sports of all kinds. Throughout his childhood, Ross participated in a year-round soccer league and played at Habersham Central High school until graduating. During college, he enjoyed coaching a 6- to 7-year-old football team at the YMCA in Athens. Besides supporting his Dawgs, Ross professes loyalty to the Braves and attends as many baseball games as possible.

A native of Cornelia, Ga., Ross enjoys running and has participated in numerous races including the Peachtree Road Race. Ross enjoys hunting, fishing, horseback riding, playing golf, hiking, and most any outdoor activity, often in the northeast Georgia mountains where he grew up.

Ross lives in Alpharetta with his wife, Brittany, where they enjoy attending North Point Community Church.
