Whether you walk through our front door or call us via our main phone line, Christie is your first point of contact at Redwood Wealth Management. And she does an amazing job with both client experiences.
What makes her unique, when it comes to front-desk duties, is the unusual – and incredibly valuable – insights she brings. (We aren’t kidding.)
In 1992, she became a founding partner and V.P. of Operations for Max Advertising. She served in both roles for two decades.
Although that isn’t “financial world” experience, her agency handled creative for some of the top financial, legal and healthcare companies in the Southeast – so naturally, she knows more about finance than many people.
Having overseen the Operations department of her agency for so long, Christie’s also a natural at processes and procedures. You could say it’s her happy place!
“I know from firsthand experience the many hats some of Redwood’s clients must wear. My goal, as the first touch point, is to make each clients’ experiences with us as efficient and valuable as possible. That way, they can get back to the other demands on their time.”
Originally from Virginia, Christie moved farther south to attend the University of Georgia, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in advertising from the Grady College of Journalism & Mass Communication. She then moved to Atlanta and joined the internal advertising agency for the Atlanta Market Center, a division of the Portman Holdings.
After becoming a mom, she wanted the flexibility to work from home, and began consulting on marketing projects with Atlanta-based financial and healthcare companies. In 2018, after both of her children headed off to college, it was time to find a place where she could be part of a team again.
“In addition to front-desk duties, I still use my marketing background to manage our firm’s website, newsletters and events,” says Christie. “Between all of that, and Redwood’s supportive and friendly environment, this job really is a great fit.”
Christie, her husband Tom, and their rescue pup, Wifi, call Norcross home. Their sons, Austin and Carson, are frequent visitors when it’s laundry day!
